CaseLines Update

The Ontario Superior Court of Justice provided an update on CaseLines in a Supplementary Notice to the Profession that was issued on April 16, 2021.

CaseLines has now been implemented in Toronto and was expanded to the East and Northwest regions in March 2021. CaseLines is being expanded to the Central East and Central South regions in April 2021 and is expected to be implemented in all judicial regions by the end of summer 2021.

One of the new requirements is that a Participant Information form needs to be uploaded to CaseLines for each hearing. This is similar to a counsel slip. Where possible, the moving party is asked to coordinate with the other parties the completion of one form. A link to the required form is contained in the Supplementary Notice to the Profession.
