About

Shane Marston maintains a broad litigation practice, with a particular focus on insurance defence. He has had the opportunity to appear before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as the Federal Court of Canada, in a wide range of complex insurance and commercial disputes.

Shane completed law school at the University of Ottawa in 2021, where he was awarded with the National Academy of Arbitrator’s Writing Prize for Emerging Issues in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He was also employed by the faculty of law as a writing leader and peer mentor with the University’s Legal Writing Academy.

Outside of work, Shane is a committed band member, Toronto Raptors fan and a world-ranked crokinole player.
